Public education needs to be added to this list of systems that need to be ignored.

Any official education channel, including public libraries these days.

The cultural destroyers have poisoned everything.

Excellent, spirit-lifting perspective and great advice!

Especially that of reducing our intake of poisons in the form of bad "food", "entertainment", and "news". When we stop taking in poison, we grow stronger!

Indeed. A big part of escape is to stop damaging yourself. That alone helps us heal. Stop listening to the propaganda and stop eating the junk food.

And when we stop taking in poison, we feel better, we see better, we notice more truth, we learn to avoid even more of their poisons - we enter a virtuous cycle. And upward spiral.

We can do, although temptation is always present. The junk food tastes good.

I like to call this process Desistance. Resistance means joining one of the predefined "sides", which helps to maintain the dividers. Desistance means conscientious objection from all wars, military and cultural and corporate.

I like it. I may even steal it 🤓

I think you are right. Don't choose a side. Starve them by doing something else. When I tell people I don't watch TV or follow news they don't believe me. It is inconceivable to many. But it works.

I haven't had TV for nine years. Additionally, I make it a point to not look at advertising. Very refreshing.

I would love to ban advertising. What a world that would be.

What is the source of the "Borg's" information? They all parrot the exact same words in their talking points. Who determines what form the next psyop should take?

It would not surprise me if Donald Trump is suicided in the next thirty days.

I think it is more an evolutionary thing. Many attempts to manipulate us exist simultaneously. Some don't survive. Some flourish. We are being conned all the time by someone.

Question everything, trust no one, proceed with caution and live your best life.

Great article, this one was really comforting oddly enough. I like the optimism inherent in the idea that though the corporations are dying, we're still here as you seem to imply. Spiff, this was a great essay, kudos brother.

They are dying, and we will outlive them all. That is the message.

Thanks for reading.

You're welcome.

How can you tell they're "dying"?

I'm seeing the exact opposite, on a planetary scale.

Their schemes are failing. Electric cars, climate initiatives, diversity. Their ideas are contrary to nature and do not work. We just need to let nature take its course.

As for corporations, almost none will survive the collapse of Western economies. They are riddled with incompetents too.

"What to do instead? Let it die by finding alternatives wherever possible. It is usually that simple."

This has been illustrated in a much more dramatic and visceral fashion last week (and currently) with the US gov't response to the hurricane flood victims in NC, bringing the point firmly home that you cannot, under any circumstances, rely, believe, or trust any governemnt or corporate entity to help you, no matter how much you have given it, no matter how much you think it "owes you", no matter how much the truth is on your side. All we have is each other and we best start depending on that.

Let it die, indeed, Spiff.

A salient example. Not only zero help, but they acted to prevent help.

We must build the world we want, not plead with the incumbents to be nice.

Not a black pill in sight. This is The Way!

Indeed. Too many doomers. Although we have all been there.

When we pay attention we often realize our lords and masters are hopeless. Inept, clueless, and just as bad at planning as the rest of us. Their schemes are literally insane. 15-minute cities are just one bad example.

My favourite example is electric cars, artificially rushed into mass production. Now being withdrawn due to many problems while 50 year old diesel tractors work fine. The US Jeep could be maintained with basic tools, for example. Try doing that with today's cars.

There is the perfect example to be optimistic about. Those who control us make nothing and maintain nothing. Their main skill is good PR, and that won't help them for much longer.

Doom is all there is, if you’re not dooming you’re just being Squeamish About Feeling Bad.

The Blackpill is all there is. There is nothing else, Only Eternal Misery.

The greater your lever, the less and well-measured force you can apply without tilting things out of balance.

If you wield a multi-billion media company, allied to a multi-trillion corporate state, then even the lack of pressure applied will be seen as you applying pressure; after all, refraining to act is an action too.

Psy-ops, conspiracies and such simple aren't needed. They exist, great and small, of that there's no real doubt since you and your allies and friends have plans and contingencies - only The Bad Guys see conspiracies, or make conspiracies. Tomato - potatoe.

But they aren't needed. Pick a baseball. Put it on the floor in front of the kitchen counter. Now try standing on it, barefoot, while doing the dishes. Every little motion changes your balance; no conscious motion needed.

Politics is the same thing on a huge scale.

Nice analogy. I agree. Things are going to happen, like foolish pandemic responses thanks to build in incentives. No conspiracy needed, even though conspiracies exist.
