Indeed. Where would we be without mentally ill people telling us what to think? 🤔

Start with yourself, sir.

Lol "anguished videos of women rejecting feminism"

Two female idiots who wanted to get married made videos, and now you think you're onto something. Women who get abandoned by husbands don't make videos; they just move on.

Men shouldn't be allowed online. You were meant for manual labor.

Haven't we talked before? I think I recognize this approach. I am sure you responded to some other thing I wrote.

And yes. Anguished women, and growing numbers working to challenge the main tenets of radical feminism in particular. An interesting development.

You nailed it. It's really just jealousy. The alt media has transformed from a nuisance into an actual threat, and threats must be dealt with. I don't think they'll succeed though. Hate speech is such a tired cliche. The only people who really care about it are middle aged white women.

Absolutely. It is maturing while the mainstream is heading for the retirement home. All those non-existent comments under articles about immigration or riots added up. Substack must seem like the Wild West to the people who run the traditional media.

I don't think they will succeed either. I do think Substack will cave eventually. So it may just serve as a proof of concept. It proves people want to read challenging material and be free to comment. That was normal only ten years ago.

Thanks for reading 🙂

If it wasn’t coming from the top down, making the divisions and telling these guys who to hate, I don’t think they would have the intelligence to think of it on their own. This is just another divide-and-conquer tactic that (so far) Substack is recognizing and thwarting.

Most awesome essay, Spiff!

It is all downloaded talking points. That is why they rarely argue their case. They can't. Orange man bad, castrating boys good. That's the sum total of their views.

And the transmogrifier is mine pal. Lol.

Every totalitarian regime, fascist or socialist, has to control speech. More than that, they have to control every institution and even your inner self: what you think, what you love, what you hate. (My recent post about Two-Face just touched on this.) It's always the will of the people, it's always for the greater gold.

I actually am a bit concerned about nationalist/Nazi movements, which may be driven by feds but still have plenty of everyday dupes in their ranks. I respond to my concerns by talking about it publicly and challenging people's incorrect notions. Censoring them just makes them feel persecuted.

I am less concerned with nationalist movements. Particularly with recent events like mass migration that is resisted by most nations. If these are not addressed by the political class then the inevitable will happen. I am concerned with aspects of that and what it may mean, but not surprised.

I will check out your piece. And you are correct. It is a relentless drive to control. So we must win every battle, even the desire to censor Substack. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

"That’s all the Nazi talk is about. An irrational fear the normals will stumble across alternative views on issues that trouble them and get them thinking. And we can’t have the minions thinking for themselves. That’s just for the thought police."

Booyah! And boom goes the dynamite. Great piece all around, and this line really strikes at the heart of the matter. Well done, sir!

And that is their fear. In their mind it is all hate, but it is in fact information. Men aren't actually women etc.

It's the exact same phenomenon as when leftists move from California or Canada or New York, settle down in more conservative places such Texas and Tennessee. Then they go on to try and change their new homes into exactly the same thing that they ran away from.

Of course they do. That is what elites do. They wind up their stormtroopers and let them go to create resistance. The elites know it is all nonsense. The stormtroopers don't. They believe every word.

It is all about control. That is why they want you to focus on racism, climate alarmism and trans genocide. They all sound horrible, how could you support such things? It is all a ruse so you won't ask real questions like what gives you the right to add a kill switch to my car? Why are you controlling my diet? This is all nonsense.

Excellent take overall! These people really, really want to be Political Officers in the new Marxist regime they envision.

Doesn't have much to do with feminism though, which is the belief that women deserve equal respect and consideration. Your resentment of uppity women is showing a bit here.

I think of it more in terms of a balance of the sexes producing better results. Both sausage fests and clambakes tend to produce head-scratching outcomes.

I agree women deserve equal respect. But radical feminists are facing more and more pushback for a reason. And it is mostly women. So my own views are not anti-female in the slightest. But I am against most of the tenets of feminism in its current form.

So many points to cover, so I'll just do it the old BBS-style:

"Substack must remove anything defined as harmful to others. Hateful material is mentioned, and we cannot tolerate hate in any form."

They hate Nazis, ergo we can’t tolerate their hate. Also, I really hate getting the flu and property taxes.

"What they mean is Substack doesn’t look like the failing media organs they are fleeing from."

Also reminds me of Californians fleeing their Democrat-run vagrant-poop infested cesspool – they flee to neighboring states and not five minutes after getting out of their grand colossus motorhomes start screeching, “SANCTUARY STATE! TAX TOILET PAPER! MOAR DIVERSITY!”

"Most people are decent and will play along if they meet a trans woman, even one who is unmistakably masculine."

However, as is being claimed among the party lines of the lunatic left, refusing to date a transgender person is de facto transphobia. Everything is transphobia unless you’re gushing over how brilliant and stunning and courageous and perfect they are.

"They don’t want to set the record straight on what they claim are Nazi talking points. Indeed, they rarely even identify them. Their goal is to dominate conversations with an aggravating sense of smugness they think of as superior understanding."

True, and it’s almost as if they’re patterning a specific behavior En-masse. The variances are in there, but this is exactly the way they respond to any and all discourse. Occasionally you’ll get a neophyte or two piping in with what they really think – essentially labelling anyone who disagrees with them as Nazis – then the gatekeepers pile in with one-liners and “likes” as they stroke each other’s backs and work to shut down any further discussion.

"Then there are the contradictions. Radical feminists condemning peaceful European nations as bastions of sexual violence and abuse while overlooking entire cultures who institutionalize the harsh control of women. Do they think we haven’t noticed?"

That’s the thing. They censor any other views for themselves – they don’t expose their minds to both sides, or to any other side than the one they wish to hear. And when they do, they repulse and pull away, slamming the door and locking it in a desperate attempt to insulate themselves. Then they chalk the door and fire up a signal flare – BEWARE! NAZIS!

So how can they possibly think anyone else is noticing their hop-skip-and quantum leap over the billions of people living in dozens of countries whose culture is perfectly OK with pedophile marriages and honor-killing their 12 and 14-year old wives for disobeying their husband’s whim and command? It’s INCONCEIVABLE that we’d notice.

"While normal people get riled at being manipulated in this way we miss the fact others welcome it. Some want a benevolent ruler not freedom."

I see this behavior on both sides of the aisle – feigning they “just want peace,” they default to abrogating and capitulating to whatever toxic culture ideologies get promoted, even if it’s gassing Jews. They don’t want to be seen or thought of as participating in “a war.” Because war is bad, dontchyaknow. Never mind completely missing the point that they and others like them are a huge contributor to why we get to places like where we’re at now, because they never speak up. They never push back. At one time, I thought such folks were a myth, but they’re not. They’re like tiny bipolar magnets – they go along with whatever the greater influence is nearby and quickly flip sides.

"But slavish adherence to fashionable nonsense does not a culture make. It is the hard stuff that tests our mettle, as individuals and even whole nations."

This is a bigger problem - one than our top military brass fails to realize – that a country so infested with empty-headed, spiritually dead culture clones does not a strong military make.

"There is always a contingent in society who don’t buy the hype. If you are reading this you are probably one of them. Regardless of your views on any of the major topics it is unlikely you are a racist, a trans genocider or a fan of polluting the planet beyond the point of no return. You probably don’t use violence on your spouse and have complex views about abortion and raising children that cannot be reduced to aphorisms."

This is what they tend to fear – the people who take a minute to think about it. Who push back on the agendas, who question the motives, point out fallacies and reject their make-believe facades of “doing it for the children” and other go-to tropes. Folks who have worked and know the value of the money they flagrantly spend on pet experiments tend to spend attention before they blindly trust some gasbag in office to spend money.

Great essay, mister.

Censorship is such a double-edged sword.

Who decides what is hate and isn't? I don't like being misrepresented just because I lean right, but if i accede to censoring of an entire platform, my voice will not exist. Censorship is therefore a fear response of those paranoid enough due to their choosing evil over freedom. I ain't buying it. Churchill was correct. Fear is never a good strategy.

Yes. Censorship is a slippery slope. Beyond calls to cause harm, we must learn most things are fine. Just ignore anything you don't like.

I remember reading that quote. Absolutely great way to illustrate it. It is inconceivable anyone could vote for him because no one she knows does that.

I am in the UK. It was the same with the Brexit vote. The media class had convinced themselves only backward racists would vote to leave the EU as they didn't know anyone like that. Their shock was palpable when we voted to leave. You could tell they just couldn't process it.
