If buckets are the media, then 'science' and 'authority' must be the faucets and hoses filling it.

I sometimes think that Tucker Carlson's shift from approved media to /alt media is really the signal the normies needed. As painfully soft and unaware as Tucker was, and Hannity before him, they represented 'reasonable discourse' to so many millions. Even though they make me want to vomit.

I could foresee another shift, people using direct IP catalogging and linking to conduct their normal online activity on so-called 'dark' sites. If the problem is SEO and throttling of everything, then bypass the search engines entirely.

I think Tucker Carlson is there to shape the conversation. However I agree. I think his move away from Fox is helpful for normals to see what is going on.

As for alternative ways to access information? I think it is inevitable we will see innovation. Canada has just announced draconian legislation to make blogs register with the government.

I imagine an easy to use app that provides access to an underlying set of changing IP addresses. A kind of browser, but with the location of the content always changing.

I'm glad to see people like the esteemed Spiff are still able to think positively. On the other hand, it is long past time for us to deal with the increasing censorship and lies.

Make an honest comment on msm news and unspecified "community guidelines" silence you. Those we once trusted have turned into Pravda.

Is it time for us to buy CB radios and antennas or will we be silenced and exterminated?

It would be great to think that the USA is still a force for good in the world. But that time has passed.

My main point was the mainstream or traditional media is dying anyway. They became corporatized and centralized. If you watched the video clip it sums up what that does to them.

So the future is us. Podcasts, substack, private websites, sharing memes, the whole thing. I send my brother funny memes via a messenger app, for example. A tiny ripple effect, but I bet many others do it too.

As for the USA. Don't write them off just yet. The spirit is there, and I would argue is present in all the Anglosphere countries. That's why we've been targeted. We are the threat to global domination. I just think what we call "media" will evolve.

(((community guidelines)))

PROTOCOLS OF THE MEETINGS OF THE LEARNED ELDERS OF ZION . . . Protocol XII – Control of the Press

❝Not a single announcement will reach the public without our control. Even now this is already being attained by us inasmuch as all news items are received by a few agencies, in whose offices they are focused from all parts of the world. These agencies will then be already entirely ours and will give publicity only to what we dictate to them.❞

It took me a while to wrap my head around your bucket metaphor. In the end it works pretty well. Those of us who adore duct tape may be inclined to resist the duct tape = censorship idea, but never mind that.

You're a lot more optimistic than me about the current state of affairs, because of course we have our own substack bubble here. Nevertheless, I hope you're right and I'm wrong. This bottomless cynicism is kind of tiring.

I think we have to give people hope primarily because what we are facing is a psyops. And the principle goal of that is to demoralize.

Obviously I don't mean artificial hope or blatant lies. Just enough for people to see the positive.

I do believe our overlords are resorting to legislation because their technology approach is failing. They spent so much time capturing the mainstream they have lost sight of how visible their control now is. I appreciate some are very much plugged in. But others are tired of it. Plus I feel the internet really is uncontrollable.

Thanks for reading.
